The Research Institute for Advanced Coatings \u2013 ICAA S.A. is the former Anticorrosive Protections Paints and Varnishes Research Institute \u2013 ICEPALV S.A, founded in 1952, as the Central Laboratory of the former Institute of Paints and Varnishes.
\nICAA has two main lines of business: research and development of high-tech protection by painting and micro production of paint and varnishes. The company is not just a manufacturer of paint, but a provider of intelligent solutions and customized coverage. Unlike traditional paint, intelligent paint is able to detect a change in environmental conditions and respond to this change in a distinct and predictable way.
